Friedberg Crisis Intervention Program

Friedberg Crisis Intervention Program

BINA’s crisis intervention program, assists families who have newly entered the devastating world of brain injury. This program, which is led by Moshe Borowski, LMSW, ACSW, provides education and support to all members of the family, both during the inpatient hospitalization and rehabilitation stays, and when appropriate, after homecoming.

Once the crisis stage has passed, ongoing long term support is provided to help family members of all ages deal with ongoing issues during the rehabilitation process.

We would like to thank the Dov & Nancy Friedberg Foundations for their very generous sponsorship of this program.

Upcoming Project: School Re-entry

Another project (currently in the planning stage) involves school re-entry, which will train the educational staff and student body to deal with the needs of a child with a brain injury who is reentering the classroom, by providing the necessary education and support.
